This is the collection point for my various projects and creative activities. In this, and in my other websites, I share my thoughts, my finished projects, and the status of my projects as I work on them.
Enjoy! My most Recent ProjectsIn 2023 I started to learn to play Bass Guitar which led to me wanting to learn more music theory which led to playing some keyboard.
In 2022 and 2023 I've written the fifth installment of Tom Turing Adventures, titled: Their Man on Maui. It was published in the fall of 2023. In 2022, I've created a card game called FAB: Form A Band. It will be used as a gift to friends who are interested in it. In 2022, I created a board game called Total Musical Domination. I wanted to sell it through Amazon, but the Amazon fees and trademark requirements were too expensive for this small project. In 2022, I published my fourth Tom Turing novel, No Case for Cash. As part of my drumming musical journey, I'm keeping a journal. And I've written a parody song named 50 Ways to Fire our Drummer. In 2021, I wrote and published the third Tom Turing novel, The Old Man's Game. In 2020, as my pandemic inside-project, I started to learn to play the drums! In 2020, I wrote and published the second in my Tom Turing series: Inside the Dragon's Den. In 2019, I wrote and published my first novel: The Sword in the Machine. A Tom Turing mystery. I also published a textbook for beginning programmers: Programming and Problem Solving: An Introduction to Computer Science In 2018, I published a book that is now available on Amazon (paper or digital): Create. Share. Repeat. An Answer to the question, "Why bother?" In 2017, I made more than a few movies using GoPro and other cameras. Check them out under My Videos. I've also started learning more about JavaScript programming. In 2016, I published the desktop Java game Operation Rescue: Evade and Escape. And a few smaller games: Blackjack and DrawPoker. In 2015, I published the Android game Gemini Falcon: Asteroid Miner to the Google Play Store! You can play it on Android phones or tablets. I also published a simple rock-paper-scissors-lizard-spook game. An article I wrote about creating an advising philosophy was included in a book published by the National Academic Advising Association. |
